Fundamira has achieved many goals as of to date:
Acquired the non- profit status as a non-governmental organization in Colombia and United States 501(c)(3).
A temporary rural school already provides pre-school education to 30 children from a nearby village in the community.
Founders of Fundamira provide funds to maintain the school. Students are provided with uniforms, one set of clothing and shoes for the year, basic learning materials, teaching supplies, a daily snack, a full-time teacher. A social worker is also available for the students and their parents.
Land donation for the future Vocational Community Center.

Legal land ownership.
Working in alliance with the Ministry of Educationof Colombia & CAFAM to have technical assistance and teaching materials for the Adult Literacy & Train-the-Trainer Programs
Launched the Train-the Trainer Program on December 2006, 3 trainers participated in the program.
Launched the Adult Literacy Program on February 12, 2007, currently 44 adults participate in the program.
