Construction Work has started!

On October 15, 2009 we began construction work of the Fundamira Vocational Community Center. In the first stage of construction, foundations and concrete floor were established for the 4 classrooms and bathrooms (girls and boys). In the second stage, prefab pieces were received and installed in order to ensemble the classrooms and bathrooms (walls, ceilings, roof tiles, windows, doors and exterior paint). We need your support with in-kind and cash donations in order to supply the Center and to start classes on January 25, 2010.  Please click here to see the list of materials and supplies that we need to complete the Center. 

Fundamira is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) created to develop better living conditions for the communities bordering the Mira and Mataje rivers in the South Pacific Region of Colombia.
